LINTERPROCESS™

LINTERPROCESS™ enables rapid creation of wide range of superior diffusion protective surface layers on various metal components by applying intense direct internal heating (inductive, resistive, contact, etc.) while encasing the component in processing chamber containing active media (AM). Resulting protective layers are comprised of durable structures achieved with gradual enhancement of chemical composition, microstructure and properties of metal by dissociation of special AM and application of precise treatment parameters, such as heating temperature and treatment duration, component position and movement in the working chamber, volume of supplied AM.

Various custom thermo-chemical processes are being created at SANOVA on the basis of LINTERPROCESS™ technology. The name of each such new custom process reflects the alloy it is designed to treat and the main alloying element used in the treatment. For example, process for carburizing of pure Ti and Ti alloys is called LINTERTITANIUM-C, while process for nitriding of Ti and Ti alloys is called LINTERTITANIIUM-N2. Further differentiation of custom processes is achieved by affixing a number at the end of process name: LINTERTITANIUM-1, 2, 3, etc.
