Custom Technologies Based on LINTERPROCESS™ and LINHEAT™
LINTERPROCESS™ and LINHEAT™ technologies are seldom used by themselves. More often, in manufacturing of various metal components, more complex custom technologies are created by SANOVA for live component treatment to generate required properties of metal surface and core. Such custom integrated technologies are comprised of both thermo-chemical and heat treatment processes. When SANOVA creates such a combined technology, its name contains the description of the combined technology and the identifier of the metal it is developed to treat. For example, combined carburizing and heat treatment of steels AISI 8620 Pyrowear-675™ and Pyrowear-53™, which SANOVA recently developed, are called LINCARBOHEAT-8620 and LINCARBOHEAT-675 and LINCARBOHEAT-53, respectively. Similarly, combined custom technology for creation of stainless surfaces on carbon and alloyed steels, is called LINCARBOHEAT-SS.
Combined custom processed for treatment of various refractory metals are named with the metal name and process identifier included in the name: LINTERTITANIUM-1, 2, 3, etc. for Ti and Ti alloys, LINTERZIRCONIUM-1, 2, 3, etc. for Zr and Zr alloys, LINTERNIOBIUM-1, 2, 3, etc. for Nb and Nb alloys, and so on.
Similarly, custom technologies which are created for processing of specific components can include names of those components in the name of the custom process, like LINTERTITANIUM-Valve1, 2, 3, etc.
Several such custom technologies have already been created and implemented by SANOVA, while more are in various stages of research and development.
